1. About this project
The AI Data Center Map is an independent, non-commercial, educational project that maps data centers across Europe and their environmental footprint. It is run for the public good and is a work in progress.
2. Accuracy — please read
Data is gathered from public sources such as OpenStreetMap and public reports. Locations, operators, sizes and any environmental figures are frequently incomplete and are often estimates. The information is not authoritative and may be wrong. Do not rely on it for legal, commercial, journalistic, financial or safety decisions without independent verification.
3. Environmental estimates
Water, power and carbon figures are calculated from a site's characteristics using published methods. Where an operator publishes real figures, we prefer those. Unless stated, treat all figures as estimates, not measurements.
4. Reports and contributions
Information you submit (a reported data center, or a press message) is reviewed before it appears and may be published on the map. Do not submit false, unlawful, defamatory or privacy-infringing information.
5. Personal data (GDPR)
If you give an email address (press or report forms), it is stored only to reply to you and to verify submissions. It is never sold or published. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you may ask us to access or delete your data — contact us via the Press page.
6. No warranty, no liability
The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site.

8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Belgium. Any dispute falls under the competent courts of Belgium, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections under EU law.
